This paper describes the Muslim struggle in Mali. It forms a section of a larger document entitled, Understanding the Context of Muslim-Related Conflict/ Violencein the Global Stage, whichis intended to provide information to enlighten both Muslim and non-Muslim readership on transnational issues involving Muslims around the world.
The first part lays down the intention of this paper. The second part constitutes the body of findings that includes a brief background of the geopolitical context of the conflict, timeline of the conflict, major actors, key issues and an analysis of findings. The last part is a generalization of the findings to conclude the paper.
